I. The concept of motor shaft
Motor shaft, is the center axis of the motor rotor, that is, the shaft that connects the motor rotor and the motor load. The motor shaft extends from the center axis of the motor rotor and can be made of steel, aluminum alloy and other materials. The quality and material of the motor shaft directly affects the performance and life of the motor.
II. The classification of motor shaft
According to the size and function of the motor shaft, the motor shaft can be divided into two types: small shaft and large shaft.
1. Small shaft
Small shaft refers to the shaft diameter less than 20mm motor shaft. Small shafts are generally used for small motors, such as micro-motors, small power tools. The advantage of small shaft is small size, light weight, suitable for application in small space. The disadvantage is that the torque and strength are not as good as the large shaft.
2. Large shaft
Large shaft refers to the shaft diameter greater than 20mm motor shaft. Large shafts are generally used for large motors, such as industrial motors, generator sets and so on. The advantages of large shafts are high torque, high strength, suitable for applications in high load, high intensity working environment. The disadvantages are large size and heavy weight.

The motor shaft plays a vital role in the motor drive system, and different types of motor shafts are suitable for different application scenarios. For example:
1. small axis motors are suitable for small household appliances, small robots, medical equipment, etc.; 2.

I. Linear Shaft

Third, square shaft

Compared with round shafts, square shafts have higher torque and torsional hardness. Square shafts are widely used in hydraulic presses, punching machines, wire winches, transmission boxes and other components.

Hexagonal shaft is a kind of hexagonal cross-section of the shaft. It has many advantages, such as good torsional performance, transfer torque. Commonly used in drills, wrenches, screwdrivers and other hand-held tools, as well as automotive parts and other fields.
Five, shaped shaft
Shaped shaft refers to the irregular shape of the shaft, mainly used in some special occasions, such as tapered shaft, corrugated shaft and so on. Shaped shafts can be designed and processed according to the needs of the work, and are suitable for special machines, equipment and tools.
